The Evening

Join us for a serene evening of live music, sacred chants, folk songs, and community with Lisa Lestander & Jon Sousa.

The music is offered in a gentle kirtan‑style — without the dramatic energy peaks of traditional kirtan.

You are also welcome to sing along on some of the songs, letting your voice join the collective energy.

Lisa Lestander — born in Umeå, Sweden — is a singer and composer rooted in Swedish folk music. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, she is also one of the founding members of the acclaimed a cappella quartet Kraja.

Jon Sousa, originally from the US East Coast, is a guitarist, composer and vocalist who has traveled the globe to study, perform and teach. With a Master’s degree in Traditional Irish Music from the University of Limerick, he has performed nearly two decades as part of the folk duo Adam & Jon.
